THURSDAY:
For those coming in on Thursday afternoon/evening (which is highly recommended)...Friday is a day of leisure, golf at The Heather, hot tubbing in the oversized pool at our condo, and for shuttling cars to Mackinac City. We'll have a limo or limo's waiting to shuttle us back to Boyne from the Arnold Ferry parking lot. If you want to shuttle your car, please let Joe or I know as we'll let you know when we'll convoy up. I think a good departure time would be 6pm for that.

FRIDAY:
Arrive at Boyne Highlands Resort (check in to Condo's - see above under directions from Chicago)

8pm: Event Registration in lobby below the Zoo Bar (PARTY). This is where you pay for the event if you haven't already ($55), and where you'll pick up your registration packet (don't lose anything in that packet), which again includes:

• Wristband for admission into the party at the Zoo Bar at 8pm
• Transportation of luggage from Boyne to Mackinac City (Ticket)
• Lunch at half way point during the ride at Legs Inn (Ticket) Massage tables there and at finish.
• Round trip Ferry transportation to/from Mackinac Island
• Admission to post ride parties at "THE GATE HOUSE", "HORNS" or "THE PINK PONY"...which remember is in or adjacent to our hotel (Chippewa Hotel)

SATURDAY:
(There is a nice breakfast buffet in the lodge)

• 10am- Meet at the Boyne Highlands sign at the beginning of the ride where we'll take our Team Shack-2008 photo.
• Ride will take average rider about 4-5 hours of ride time, not including stops, so we'll want to leave relatively early, but this is up to you. We usually leave as close to 10am as possible so we'll have plenty of time on the island for hot tub, partying, and sightseeing if desired.
• 3pm or so - Once the ride is completed, we'll meet at the Arnold Ferry dock and drink beer while waiting for everyone to finish. (plan to depart on 3pm ferry if possible - if you miss that ferry, no worries there is one every hour) Upon arrival on the island, we'll check in at the Chippewa Hotel, which is located just to the right of the Arnold Ferry dock as you approach. So when you get off the dock, head up into town and turn right on Main Street, and the hotel is right there adjacent to The Pink Pony Bar. Then we'll hit the hot tub, go shopping, get food, whatever...again it's your vacation so that is up to you...Most of us will be in the hot tub, and I suspect your body will want that too J

SUNDAY:

9:00am - First Ferry departs for Mackinac City - Ferry departs every hour on the hour so may leave when you want to. There is a lot to see and do on the island and I'm sure you'll need a good and greasy hangover breakfast, and you may want to do a little wandering on Sunday, but watch out for the horse apples!

If the weather is nice, you could play golf at the Grand Hotel's golf course and some people are planning on staying Sunday and extending their vacation another day! Lodging for Sunday night is up to you.
